Share of surface water monitoring points by trophic status class in the EU27 or specific country, categorised by station type [chart]

The dashboard shows the share of monitoring points with trophic status of surface water bodies reported under the 8^th reporting cycle (2020-2023) of the Nitrates Directive. Filters allow the user to explore the data by water body type and countries for the EU27 countries.

The expert dashboards show the data of the EU27 countries reported electronically to the EEA for the 8^th reporting period. Countries included in the “EU27”: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden.
Only stations that were not reported removed were considered.
Luxembourg authorities informed the Commission of errors in reporting of data on eutrophication in some monitoring points. However, these changes could not anymore be taken into account for this report.
