The dashboard shows the nitrate (NO3) concentration hotspots reported under the 8th reporting period (2020-2023) of the Nitrates Directive. Filters allow the user to explore the data for the different water body types at NUTS2 and River Basin District level.

  • The expert dashboards show the data of the EU27 countries reported electronically to the EEA for the 8th reporting period. Countries included in the “EU27”: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden
  • Only stations that were not reported removed were considered
  • Data for the Netherlands is not displayed due to incorrect reporting of location data
