The dashboard shows the share of eutrophic/could become eutrophic monitoring points reported under the 8th cycle (2020-2023) of the Nitrates Directive. Filters allow the user to explore the data for the different water body types at NUTS2 and River Basin District level.

  • The expert dashboards show the data of the EU27 countries reported electronically to the EEA for the 8th cycle of the Nitrates Directive. Countries included in the “EU27”: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden.
  • Only stations that were not reported removed were considered.
  • Luxembourg authorities informed the Commission of errors in reporting of data on eutrophication in some monitoring points. However, these changes could not anymore be taken into account for this report.
